I’m just a dad, standing in front of the Family Court, asking them to let me parent.

If only it was that simple. I don’t hate her; far from it. She is the only person I have ever loved unconditionally and still do. On our good days she was everything. On our bad days ….

Hope never dies. I love her yesterday, today and tomorrow. I am still hoping for a fairytale ending – a safe loving family with the mother of our girls.

But I am realistic. She’s made her choice and I just desperately want to parent my children as an equal co-parent.
